Here’s how I got here.

College & Early Career

  • My first job? A print shop at 15. Then came retail—Wet Seal, PacSun, Lucky Brand, Sunglass Hut—hustling between shifts while attending CSU Fullerton and earning my B.A. in Communications.

  • Landed my first journalism job as an editorial assistant at a magazine publisher, covering music, entrepreneurs, and the rise of digital platforms.

  • Became a radio DJ at KUCI, running an indie music show, promoting concerts, and getting hands-on with Orange County’s music scene.

  • Managed bands, launched an online music magazine and PR firm, wrote for music publications, and even produced SoCal’s first food truck festivals—all while plotting my move to L.A.

Breaking into the Music Industry

  • First L.A. gig? A music & lifestyle marketing agency, where I cut my teeth as a publicist before pivoting into digital marketing at Interscope Records.

  • Worked frontline marketing for Lady Gaga, Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Carly Rae Jepsen, Aloe Blacc, Zedd, Lana Del Rey, and more.

  • At Universal Music Enterprises, I led digital campaigns for legends like Ringo Starr, Stevie Wonder, Bob Seger, The Beach Boys, and the Classic Motown catalog.

  • At BMG, led the digital marketing department and managed a team.

  • Throughout my career in music, I oversaw seven-figure budgets and marketing strategies for 40+ artists at a time.

Career Highlights:

  • Helped launch Imagine Dragons, Ellie Goulding, and Lana Del Rey from emerging artists to global stars.

  • Worked on Aloe Blacc’s major label debut, Lift Your Spirit, supporting digital marketing efforts that helped propel the album and its breakout single The Man to mainstream success.

  • Led digital strategy for The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary, using innovative social media activations—including a Snapchat filter, video documentary, and lyric videos—to engage longtime fans and introduce the album to new audiences.

  • Led Ringo Starr’s first-ever live-streamed birthday event, bringing the Peace & Love movement to digital audiences.

  • Spearheaded Bob Seger’s catalog debut on streaming platforms, introducing a new generation to a rock icon.

  • Reimagined The Velvet Underground’s self-titled album anniversary, finding fresh ways to engage fans and honor their legacy.

From Music to Craft Beer & Hospitality

  • Pivoted into beverage & hospitality, taking on marketing, PR, events, sales, bartending, and food prep to learn the business from the ground up.

  • Co-founded Women of the Bevolution & Brave Noise, advocating for gender equity, safe spaces, and economic opportunities for women and non-binary professionals in beverage.

  • Helped early-stage beverage brands (1-4 years) scale to regional and national recognition through communication strategy, creator partnerships, and storytelling.

  • Mobilized the community during the craft beer #MeToo movement, co-founding Brave Noise—a global beer collaboration demanding accountability and industry reform.

Grassroots Organizing & Social Impact

  • When the pandemic hit, my hospitality work hit pause. I decided to take it as an opportunity to pursue a passion for regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and nutrition.

  • Lived and worked on farms, learning firsthand about food systems and sustainability.

  • Volunteered at an urban farm supporting transitional housing residents, eventually the organization became one of my clients and I handled PR, fundraising, donor relations, and events.

  • Through this work—and my experience with Women of the Bevolution and Brave Noise—I realized my purpose was in grassroots organizing, nonprofit leadership, and community mobilization.

Key Achievements & Impact

  • Raised over $1 million for nonprofits, grassroots initiatives, and advocacy campaigns.

  • Co-founded Women of the Bevolution & Brave Noise, mobilizing $500,000+ in global nonprofit funding and supporting gender equity through grants, relief funds, and mentorship.

  • Secured $41,000 in mental health and legal aid and $23,000 in grants for 18 underrepresented beverage and hospitality creators.

  • Led donor engagement & stewardship efforts, cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors and individuals to secure $100,000+ in funding and in-kind contributions.

  • Curated and produced large-scale festivals & events at the intersection of food, beverage, music, art, and philanthropy—driving community engagement and brand partnerships.

  • Edited & produced two seasons of the award-winning beer podcast Brewing After Hours.

  • Co-launched & led partnerships for a woman-owned beer brand, Flora Brewing, that went from homebrewer & digital creator to commercial brand available at breweries, bars, and bottleshops.

  • Recognized as Imbibe 75 People to Watch, a VinePair Next Wave Award Recipient, and a Good Beer Hunting Signifier.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

From managing publicity for a variety of clients to spearheading digital strategy for 40+ artists at a time, workflow and prioritizing are extremely important in ensuring a project stays on track. I'm accustomed to communicating with various teams internally and externally while working against hard deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

TEAM MANAGEMENT:

Not only do you need to understand the landscape and how departments work together, but how to best support your own team. Previously, I managed a department with two direct reports. Eventually working to promote one member of the team to a newly created position based on her interests and expertise, and allowing me to hire a person to fill her previous role. I've always been an advocate for learning and progressing in my own career and I want to make sure my team has the same mindset and continues to learn and grow in their career. A team is a place to feel safe to share ideas, empower one-another and collaborate.

VOLUNTEERING:

Giving back to the local community is very important in all that do on a day-to-day basis. Whether it’s prepping plant beds at urban farms, cooking at the Downtown LA Women’s Center, helping with day-of show for the Tustin Fine Arts Council’s Broadway in the Park, planting trees with Tree People or the Audobon Center at Debs Park, I am inspired and motivated by helping my community.

HOW I LIKE TO SPEND MY TIME:

Hiking, trail-running, cycling, playing basketball, dodging balls in an adult dodgeball league (Eagle Rock Yacht Club), cooking, city walking explorations, helping out my grandparents and those within their community, dog walking, thrift/antique shopping, and trying out some new craft like building my grandma a Free Library for her neighborhood.
